What data we collect
Mistopolia is an information service. No registration is required, and we do not ask for or store your name, phone number, or address. We only process:
- Analyticsanonymous visit statistics via Google Analytics 4 — only with your consent
- Preferencesyour language, theme, and cookie-consent choices are stored locally in your browser (localStorage) and are not sent to us
- Technical logsthe server may temporarily record your IP address and browser type for security and stability
Cookies and analytics
By default, analytics and advertising cookies are disabled. They are enabled only after you click “Accept” in the consent banner (we use Google Consent Mode v2). You can decline or change your choice at any time by clearing the site data in your browser.
Functional data (language, theme, consent) is stored locally and is required for the site to work.
Legal basis (GDPR)
We process analytics based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Technical logs are processed based on our legitimate interest in service security (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Sharing with third parties
If you consent to analytics, anonymous data is processed by Google (Google Analytics 4 / Google Tag Manager). We do not sell or share your data with any other third-party companies.
Data retention
Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics settings. Local preferences remain in your browser until you delete them. Server technical logs are kept for a short period.
